| 4 large potatoes | 1/8 tsp pepper |
| 2 Tblsp butter | 1/4 tsp paprika |
| 1/4 cup green onions | 3 Tblsp flour |
| 1 green pepper | 2 cups milk |
| 2 cups water | 1 cup corn |
| 1 tsp salt | 2 cups diced ham |
Melt butter in large, heavy saucepan. Add onions and green pepper and saute. Add potatoes and water and cook until tender. Make paste of flour with 1/3 cup water (works well to put it in a small container and shake it.) Add to potatoes. Then add milk and stir until thickened. Add corn and ham and heat through. Serves 8-10.
