4 large potatoes 1/8 tsp pepper
2 Tblsp butter 1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 cup green onions 3 Tblsp flour
1 green pepper 2 cups milk
2 cups water 1 cup corn
1 tsp salt 2 cups diced ham


Melt butter in large, heavy saucepan. Add onions and green pepper and saute. Add potatoes and water and cook until tender. Make paste of flour with 1/3 cup water (works well to put it in a small container and shake it.) Add to potatoes. Then add milk and stir until thickened. Add corn and ham and heat through. Serves 8-10.
