Soup

2 cups water 4 cups diced potatoes
2 onions 2 cups carrots
2 cups celery 3 cups broccoli


Combine all above except broccoli and simmer for 5 minutes. Add broccoli and simmer 15 minutes more.

3 Tblsp flour 1/2 cup butter
2 cups milk 2 lbs Velveeta cheese
2 tsp dry mustard 1/4 tsp pepper


Melt butter in large, heavy saucepan; stir in flour until bubbly. Add milk; stir until thick. Add cheese and spices. Add vegetables, undrained. Stir together and heat through. Serves 8-10. This is a good bread bowl soup.
