1 pound frozen kernel corn | 1 1/2 tsp salt |
8 oz. whipping cream | 3 Tblsp Parmesan cheese |
1 1/2 Tblsp butter | 2 Tblsp sugar |
1 1/2 Tblsp flour | 1 1/2 tsp Accent (optional) |
1/4-1/2 tsp garlic powder |
Could use 3 cloves garlic, minced. Put corn and cream in pan, bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Add salt and Accent. Melt butter and add flour to make paste. Add to corn. Simmer for 2 minutes. Put in casserole and sprinkle with cheese. Dot with butter and brown under broiler. This is a favorite recipe of Matt's and is on the Mortensen's holiday menu.
