Salad

1 can pears 1 sm pkg lime Jello
1 sm pkg cream cheese 1/4 tsp lemon juice
1 env whipped topping mix Lettuce leaves


Drain pears and reserve juice. Soften cream cheese. In saucepan, bring pear liquid to boil. Stir in Jello until dissolved. Remove from heat and cool until syrupy. Meanwhile puree pears in a blender. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and lemon juice until fluffy and smooth. Add pureed pears and mix well. Prepare whipped topping according to pkg directions; fold into pear mixture. Fold in cooled Jello. Pour into an oiled 4 1/2-cup mold or a bowl. Chill overnight. Yield: 6-8 servings.
