8 oz. uncooked linguine | 1 tsp basil |
1 c shinly sliced broccoli | 1/2 tsp salt |
1 medium carrot, thinly sliced | 1/4 tsp pepper |
1/4 c sliced green onions | 1/4 cup chicken broth |
1/4 cup butter | 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese |
1 1/2 c sliced mushrooms | 1 garlic clove, minced |
Cook linguine according to package. Meanwhile, cook broccoli, carrot, and onion in butter in large skillet for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms, garlic, basil, salt, and pepper (could also add about 2 cups of snow peas); cook about 3 minutes; add broth; stir. Drain linguine and add to skillet; toss to coat. Sprinkle with cheese.
