1 cup chopped pecans 2 cubes butter
1 cup coconut 8 oz. pkg cream cheese
German chocolate cake mix 2 cups powdered sugar


Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chopped pecans and coconut in bottom of pan. Prepare German chocolate cake mix according to directions but beat it for 1 minute longer. Pour into pan over nuts and coconut. Melt butter and cream cheese; add powdered sugar; stir. Pour this mixture over cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes and turn out onto platter so nuts are on top. Serve warm with ice cream.
