2 cups sugar 2 eggs
3/4 cup cocoa 1 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp soda 2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt 1 cup boiling water


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9-inch baking pans or one 9 x 13-inch pan. In large bowl combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat on medium for 2 minutes. Remove from mixer; stir in boiling water (batter will be thin.) Pour into pan(s). Bake 30-35 minutes for round pans or 35-40 minutes for 9 x 13-inch pan.


Fudge Frosting:
1 cup sugar 1/4 cup milk
1 cube butter 1 tsp vanilla
2 Tblsp cocoa


Bring frosting ingredients to a rolling boil for 1 minute. Add vanilla. Cook for 1 more minute. Cool and beat until thick.
