1/2 cup shortening 1 beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla 2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar 1/2 tsp soda
1/2 cup nuts 3/4 tsp salt
1/2 milk 4 tsp cocoa


Could use white or brown sugar. Chop nuts. Cream shortening, vanilla, and sugar. Stir in nuts, milk, and beaten egg. Sift and add flour, soda, salt, and cocoa. Mix well. Drop on greased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with chocolate frosting.
