Butterscotch Brownies

1 cube butter | 2 tsp baking powder |
2 cups brown sugar | 1/2 tsp salt |
2 eggs | 1 cup chopped nuts |
1 tsp vanilla | 1 cup shredded coconut |
2 cups flour |
Melt butter in brown sugar in microwave for 1 minute; stir and cool. Add eggs, beating after each one; add vanilla. Add dry ingredients with coconut and nuts; mix. Spread in jelly-roll pan. Use fingers dipped in water to spread to corners. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. Cut in the pan while warm; remove from pan when almost cool.
