1 cup brown sugar 2 Tblsp water
1/4 cup evaporated milk 1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla


Dissolve above ingredients in electric fry pan at 300-350 degrees until grainy feeling is gone. Add 4 cups unsalted nuts. Stir in frying pan until liquid is gone. Pour out on waxed paper. When completely dry, break apart and store in covered containers. You can use pecans, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, macadamias, or cashews (with the salt brushed off). Can double the recipe and use Sam's 9-cup (2 lb) bag of nuts. The recipe easily handles the extra cup of nuts.
