1 cup warm water 2 tsp salt
2 Tblsp yeast 1/2-3/4 cup shortening
2 cups milk, scalded 3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cups sugar 6 cups flour

Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside. Scald milk and shortening together. Let cool. Combine milk and yeast. Add remaining ingredients. Stir in 6 cups flour; knead well. Add more flour if necessary. Let rise. Roll into round balls. Allow to rise. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
