German Cabbage Biscuits

Brown hamburger; add chopped cabbage and onion. Continue cooking slowly and season to taste. Roll out bread dough or canned crescent rolls and cut into squares. Place about 3 large Tblsp of cabbage mixture in center of dough. Pull opposite corners of dough together and squeeze to seal in mixture. Turn upside down in greased pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown. Remove from oven and place clean damp cloth over the top. Leave for about 5 minutes. This softens the top. These freeze well and can be warmed up in the microwave.
