1 1/4 cups flour | 1/2 tsp salt |
3/4 cup cornmeal | 1 c skim milk |
1/4 cup sugar | 1/4 cup oil |
2 tsp baking powder | 1 egg or 2 egg whites |
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 8 or 9-inch baking pan. Combine dry ingredients. Stir in milk, oil, egg, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until light golden brown. Serve warm
