9 oz. water | 1 egg |
2 Tblsp butter or oil | 4 cups ww flour |
3 Tblsp honey | 1 1/2 tsp yeast |
1 1/2 tsp salt | 1 Tblsp dry milk |
If, after 5 minutes of mixing, your dough ball is too sticky or if your loaf sags after being baked, you may need to decrease the amount of water. This makes a 2-lb loaf. This recipe was perfected for bread mixer for the Plano, TX area by a chemist Clive Moon. See April Fitzgerald's variation for the Meridian, ID area. April mixes hers in a Kitchen Aid mixer then bakes it in the oven.
